Terms of Service

1. The Service

TickerRisk is a research and screening tool that aggregates publicly available market, news, legal, regulatory and clinical-trial information into risk scores and dashboards. It is provided "as is" and "as available". It is not a broker, investment adviser, or financial advice service — see the Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

2. Accounts & Trials

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• Anonymous visitors receive a limited-time full-access trial; new accounts receive a 14-day full-access trial. Trials require no payment details and end automatically.
• One trial per person. Attempting to reset or multiply trials (e.g. with multiple accounts or technical workarounds) may result in suspension.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• 7-day money-back guarantee: first-time subscribers can request a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase by emailing info@tickerrisk.com.
• Founding-member pricing remains valid for as long as the subscription stays continuously active.
• Prices may change; existing subscribers are notified in advance and grandfathered pricing is honored where stated.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute data from the platform
• Reverse-engineer, probe, or circumvent usage limits, trials, or security measures
• Share one account across multiple users or organizations
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a refund of any unused prepaid period except in cases of abuse.

5. Intellectual Property

The TickerRisk name, scoring methodology, site design and software are our property. Screenshots and exported summaries may be shared for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. The underlying public data belongs to its respective sources.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages. See the Disclaimer for data-accuracy and no-advice terms.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account page or by emailing us. We may discontinue the service or any feature with reasonable notice; if you have prepaid for a period extending beyond discontinuation, the unused portion is refunded.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are announced on the site. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
